A Bruxelles, découvrez:

Parmentier Park

The vestige of a private park of a dozen hectares, this elongated park is part of a homogeneous landscape complex planned by King Leopold II. It is supplemented by Woluwe Park, Mellaerts Ponds and the Bovenberg estate.

The State, the owner since 1919, made the park and its buildings available to the priest Edouard Froidure in 1933. The first Brussels playgrounds were created there, and in the lower part, a public park of the Brussels-Capital Region.

Developed on a remnant of the old marshes of the Woluwe, the park includes two distinct areas: an upper part with a sunny walkway offering a panoramic view over Mellaerts Ponds and embellished and a low part, more secluded and shaded, where the ponds lie.
