A Bruxelles, découvrez:

Maisie

In addition to the energy-saving design of the residence and the choice of bio-ecological materials, the location is also of great importance. In the absence of a family car, immediate proximity to public transport and neighbourhood shops was a must for this project.
The special character of the front façade was kept by insulating it on its interior face. Insofar as possible, cellulose was preferred. Simple techniques guarantee the essential comfort: a condensing boiler operating on natural gas and 4.4m² of thermal solar panels for domestic hot water. The energy needs of this expanded and renovated house are around 43 kWh/m2.yr (Brussels average: 150).
Proper quality of the indoor air is guaranteed by a controlled mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. The installation of an area for sorting and storing various types of waste allows the residents to sort everything easily.
