A Bruxelles, découvrez:

Chant d’oiseau

The idea of taking advantage of a renovation to enlarge their property and improve it energetically and aesthetically attracted the new owners. Due to constraints in the town-planning permit requiring that the original appearance of the front façade be kept, it has been continuously insulated from the interior, thanks notably to technical work on the “decoupled” floors.
The rear façade has been insulated in standard fashion from the exterior and covered with a sealant. The heating needs of the house have been reduced to 30kWh/m2.yr.
Five square metres of thermal solar panels, a rainwater cistern supplying the toilet flushes and garden, ecological insulation, casein paint, pressure reducers, etc., are all ecological systems and materials that have been recommended and used.
